It’s quite simple. For custom stain matching, bring in the stain sample you need matched and a physical sample of the wood that the stain will be applied to. That’s it!

All of our stain matches can be done with either Goudey’s solvent based wiping stains or our water-based wiping stains.

We will help you decide on which wiping stain will be the right fit for your project.

Additionally for custom lacquer colours. All we need is the colour swatch or any paint manufacturer’s colour chip name and the type of lacquer and sheen required: Traditional, Pre-catalyzed, Post- catalyzed or water-based lacquers. Flat, Satin Gloss etc. It’s that easy!
